Day 01
Met on arrival in Kigali airport and private transfer to Kigali Serena  for your 1-night stay.

Day 02
After breakfast you will have a private city tour including the Genocide Memorial and then depart for Parc National des Volcans for your 3-night stay. The journey north goes through the beautiful terraced hillsides that characterize much of Rwanda's landscape, gradually climbing to the base of the awesome Virunga volcanoes, sometimes with as many as five peaks visible.

Day 3
Gorilla tracking in Parc National des Volcans. Tracking the gorillas through the mountain forest on the slopes of the Virungas is a magical experience. Tracking can take a full day, Depending on where the gorilla families, your trek can take as little as an hour or it can take the full day.

Day 4
Either go gorilla tracking again in Parc National des Volcans (on payment of supplement of USD500.00 at time of booking), or visit the golden monkeys or drive to Gisenyi, visit Ross Carr's orphanage and Lake Kivu or climb the Visoke/Muhavura volcanoes, or trek to Dian Fossey's grave, or visit the local school, community projects or walk to Lake Bulera.

Day 5
Depart for Kigali and to the airport

Extensions to Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania or other parks in Rwanda can easily be added to this itinerary.
