Upon your arrival at either Kilimanjaro or Dar Es Salaam
International Airport after
customs and immigration formalities, you will be met by
our representative and transferred to Arusha Airport for
your flight to Ruaha National Park. Upon arrival you
will be met and transferred to Jongomero
Camp for your 3-night stay. Lunch at camp,
followed by afternoon game drive.

After your morning game drive and breakfast, you will be
transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Selous
Game Reserve. Upon arrival you will be met and
transferred to Selous
Safari Camp for your 3-night stay. Lunch at camp,
followed by afternoon game drive.
The Selous Game Reserve has been declared a World
Heritage Site, one of three in Tanzania. Few other
safaris in Tanzania evoke the romance, mystique and
spiritual delight of the African bush as one in the
Selous Game Reserve. Embracing 54,000 square kilometres
of south-western Tanzania, it is the largest protected
wilderness reserve on the continent, three times larger
than the Serengeti and twice the size of Belgium. The
sheer diversity of the landscape - from hot volcanic
springs, placid lagoons and the many channels from the
Great Ruaha and Rufiji Rivers which bisect the reserve -
makes the Selous a unique area in which to observe the
full range of African wildlife. Most of Africa's mammal
species, from the largest to the smallest to the rarest,
thrive here. In addition there are some 440 species of
birds and more than 2,000 recorded varieties of plants
(with many more still to be discovered.)
