Documentation
Visas are required to Zambia for most tourists and fees depend on nationality. Passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended stay.
Health

Malaria prophylaxis is imperative. Tetanus and hepatitis vaccinations are advisable. Contact your physician for correct prescriptions. Due to the fact that the camps are in remote areas of Zambia, medical and trip cancellation/ interruption insurance is mandatory.
Currency

Zambia's currency is the Kwatcha (ZMK), however, US dollars are readily accepted..
Electricity

Since the camps are in remote areas, camp generators or solar power usually provides electricity. 110 and 220V battery charging facilities exist, however, hair dryers and things of that nature will not work.
