Social Responsibility

 

In 1996 staff and clients of Reservations Africa started delivering school supplies to a makeshift preschool in a rural community called Lillydale B, which borders the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve. By 2001 we committed to building a new preschool for the community. May 16, 2002 we officially opened Mazinyane Preschool and welcomed about 120 children. Since then, the enrollment has grown expediential.

Over the years, as funds became available, we continued to improve the school until it had running water, flush toilets, electricity, a fully equipped kitchen and 2 additional classrooms to the existing 10 room school. For more information, www.africanpreschools.org
